When you go to the White House to ask questions, it's not often that you learn anything new, it's just about spin.

David Corn is the Washington bureau chief for Mother Jones. A veteran DC-based journalist and political commentator and analyst, Corn won the 2012 George Polk Award and a National Magazine award for breaking the “47 Percent” Mitt Romney video—a secret video revealing Romney’s belief that 47 percent of Americans are victims who feel entitled to government benefits.

Prior to joining Mother Jones, he was the Washington editor of The Nation.

Regardless of what outlet he appears in, Corn goes out of his way to uncover hidden Washington truths. Besides the Mitt Romney story, he’s shared revelations on Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Rush Limbaugh, Enron, the CIA, the NRA, the Pentagon and beyond—practically every corner government touches.

Corn’s reports have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Harper’s, The New Republic, The Atlantic, and many others.

Corn has also authored three New York Times best-sellers and appeared as a panelist on nearly every high-profile news program in the nation.
